About Mega Dook Games

Description

Mega Dook Games is a personal project born from the idea of creating games that blend narrative, puzzles, and the exploration of interesting environments. Design with intent, curiosity as the driving force, and a healthy obsession with small details.

History

Behind Mega Dook Games is Raúl Recio, who, at the end of 2024, decided to stop waiting for the “perfect moment” and start developing his first game. This is just the beginning, and the journey matters as much as the destination.

Meaning

“Dook” is the sound ferrets make when they’re excited while playing, a small onomatopoeia of pure fun and energy.

Mega Dook Games takes that idea and applies it to video games: small, honest projects with a personality of their own. Just like ferrets, it might not be the most conventional choice, but those who connect with it know there’s something special there.

About Code: Loopbreaker

Description

Code: Loopbreaker is a first-person puzzle game set in a science fiction environment. It blends escape room elements with environmental storytelling and interactive exploration.

You play as Ethan Brooks, a low-level IT technician who’s called to work on a public holiday to fix a minor issue at the offices of Atlas Technology. What seems like a routine task quickly turns into something much stranger after a sudden tremor shakes the building — exits are sealed, the environment changes, and the systems begin to behave abnormally.

As you make your way through Atlas’s offices and labs, you’ll need to solve logic-based puzzles, decipher codes, inspect objects, uncover other characters through emails and workspaces, and piece together what’s really going on… and why you’re the only one trapped.

The game focuses on progressive storytelling, a realistic atmosphere that slowly grows more unsettling, and puzzle design that rewards observation, deduction, and close attention to your surroundings.
